A Happy Group of Singing Parakeets

What could be more pleasant to the ear then a group of parakeets singing their songs on a sunny afternoon ? This group of parakeets are full of chirps and trills as they communicate amongst themselves.

Parakeets can gather in small groups in the the wild of their native Australian environment. During times of extreme dry conditions group sizes increase in number to allow the entire group to work together and locate a new water source. A flock of birds at this point will grow to many tens of thousands. The largest seen group was reportedly close to a million birds !
